Burnish is operated by Silk Creative Labs LLC, doing business as Burnish. This policy explains what we collect and why. The short version: we process your audio to master it, we keep measurements rather than your audio, and we never train on your music.

Your audio

When you upload a track we process it to analyze and master it. We do not use your audio to train any model, and we do not sell or share it. From an analysis we keep an anonymized set of measurements (things like the measured cutoff, loudness, and true peak) so we can improve the engine and track how AI generators change over time. We do not keep the audio samples themselves as part of that record.

Accounts and cookies

Burnish has no accounts and no sign-up. We set one first-party cookie to remember your session so your work and any credits stay attached to your browser. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Email

If you choose to have a report emailed to you, we store the email address and the report it is tied to, so we can send it. We do not sell your email or add you to marketing without your consent, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Payments

Purchases are handled by Gumroad, the merchant of record. Your card details go to Gumroad, not to us. We receive a license key and the fact of a valid purchase, which we use to grant credits.

Service providers

We use Gumroad for payments and a cloud host to run the application. These providers process data only as needed to deliver the service.

Data retention

Uploaded files and rendered masters are kept only as long as needed to deliver your result and let you re-download an unlocked master. Anonymized measurements may be kept longer. You can ask us to delete your data.

Your choices

To access or delete the data tied to you, email support@burnishaudio.com and we will handle it.

We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest version.
